Silence reigned for another ten minutes and Zeras could feel the intense gaze of Adrian on him throughout the entire duration but he didn’t bother looking at it.

“A nice cool setting to die,” Zeras said as he took in a nice deep breath. They were even above the clouds, the cool breeze around the place was something he had never witnessed before.

“You know, when they say a person is about to die. There are two categories. Those who will keep a strong face until the point of death but mere seconds to their death will beg furiously. And another category belongs to people who have already accepted death. The majority of people belong to the first category. As for the second category, it holds a group of people who are very rare and a person like you is definitely out of the list…”

The sound of the phone ringing loudly echoed out loud before Adrain could count down to the last second as a vein of irritation appeared on his forehead before the words rang out from the young man sitting in front of him.

“Pick it up…” Zeras said with a deadpan expression as he dropped the glass cup in his hands back onto the table having finished the content already.

“Hmmmm….” Adrian’s eyebrows furrowed but he didn’t give it much attention. He knew well he could immediately kill Kian before he could even move a single muscle so he might as well let him enjoy a few more seconds to live…

“Hello. What is it…” Adrian asked immediately he picked up the call as the words rang out from the end of a phone causing a wild grin to appear on Zeras face as he said out loud…

“What perfect timing…”

“Sir, we’re under attack from the EIA and they have a commander with them…”

“WHAT!!!!” Adrian jumped up in shock as a powerful aura burst out of his body blowing the glass tables and the chair to smithereens.

“The. The EIA? How did they track us down?” He roared out loud in shock when suddenly his eyes widened as he turned to look behind him, the place where Kain was but all he saw was a gigantic pothole and Kain already disappeared…

“So, he is the one. He is the spy. Hahahaha, I knew my gut feeling is never wrong…” Adrian said laughing to himself before he raised the device back to his mouth.

“We also have been preparing for this day for so long. Spread out all the cards. Let set history in motion shall we…?” Adrian said before cutting off the call.

Slowly he dipped his phone back into his pocket before his eyes turned to look into the distance.

“My gut feeling has never been wrong and now it is telling me, even if you run to the world Kain, you’ll be dying in my hands today…” And instantly he moved. Seemingly faded away into the fabric of space.
